Bioinorganic Chemistry - Membrane Biochemistry
The goal of our work is to understand the functional properties of complex biochemical machines. This involves a broad range of methodologies ranging from microbiology and molecular biology and protein biochemistry to analytical tools such as EPR spectroscopy or isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). Our key technique is the determination of three-dimensional structures by X-ray crystallography.
